I firmly believe in creating an enabling workplace for people to deliver effectively, efficiently and continuously learn. Directly understanding the organisational systematic approaches, business purpose, strategic plans, and how things are delivered in a workplace, builds sustained organisational and personal performance.

I have spent 20 years’ as a practitioner and a leader in the fields of HR, organisational design, culture, people analytics, reward, learning, resourcing, talent and organisational development. I have experience in the UK and overseas, and have worked in businesses in various from fix-it to product launches to growth, aiming to achieve success through bringing out the best in people performance.

As a HR Director, I have spent time being part of an Executive Team. I know what the day to day feels like in a busy corporate and I am commercially minded to create ideas and deliver strategic solutions that balance the needs of the business with the needs of the people in today’s business and tomorrow’s.

I am a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD) and licenced to utilise a range of coaching and development tools, including Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), British Psychological Society Level A and Level B and HR organisational design and analytics tools in SAP and Orgvue.

Everyone has a range of talents and I am passionate about making sure individuals recognise, test and fully use them. When this happens, the transformation and the results can be phenomenal.

I founded Talent Equation in 2009 after 20 plus years as a practitioner and senior leader covering an expansive range of HR disciplines.

In my corporate employed roles in Financial Services and FMCG sectors, I have led HR teams bringing true business partnering and commercial edge to the value of the function. I have created and executed transformational global leadership and talent strategies that proved to deliver significant impact on om the success of the organisation.

My key strengths and passions are in organisational and leadership development and helping others identify and realise their full potential. Through Talent Equation I have been able to work with some amazing people across a range of business sectors, using my strong commercial acumen and my curiosity to get to know them, their business and their opportunities, and using my creative and practical approach to identify and deliver solutions to their challenges.

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner and a qualified user of a number of diagnostic tools, including Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI) Step 1 & Step 2, and Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI).

To achieve this I always invest heavily in individual coaching, team dynamics and inspirational leadership. These are three key ingredients to explore your own and your team’s success.

My coaching style has evolved through time spent in several FTSE companies where I led teams of up to 800 FTE’s, in face-to-face and remote capacities covering a range of roles. My style is thoughtful and direct and I look to challenge the norm.

I have been a Director of Talent Equation since 2012 after spending 25 years working for blue chip corporates. My roles in these corporates included Transformation Director, Global Supply Chain Director and Managing Director. In each role taking people with me as been key.

Through Talent Equation, I am able to share my experiences with others, helping with transformational change, developing and executing business strategy and identifying and leveraging talent.
